Metal wotk must show the yorkshire rose, not yfc logo!
At county rally, no membership card = no competing on the day.
Well done to everyone who completed in the 2010 District Rally in Holmfirth. The ever growing number of junior members contributed to Penistone's respectable 3rd place overall. It was a great day out, enjoyed by all. Thank you to the host club for their hard work.
One junior Penistone YFC member put in the effort & completed the National FYFC Discovery application forms for a trip of a life time. The member's hard work has paid off, as she has been selected to represent the North of England on the next Junior Discovery Programme. Well done....Lauren! Have a safe trip & take plenty of photo's for the website!

A big thank you to everyone who attended our annual dinner at the BlueBell Inn. Congratulations to all the members that won awards on the night.
A very successful event in Huddersfield with Sam, Harriet and Lauren in Penistone A and Rachel, Sarah and Jenny in Penistone B. Everyone had a very good day with Team B coming 3rd overall, Speaker Sarah coming 4th and Chairperson Rachel coming 2nd. Rachel then qualifield to compete in the South West District B team at Granby School, Harrogate in the Yorkshire Finals. Unforunatly they didn't make it through to the next round but enjoyed themselves nevertheless, they came 5th overall. It was good experience to all those who took part.
A Chocoholics delightful evening was enjoyed by all at Langsette Barn when the 'chocolate man' came to visit. We all learnt a little about the making of chocolate and there was no shortage of volunteers when it came to having ago themselves. However, the highlight of the evening was tasting the chocolate and everyone forced themselves to taste some, it was getting them to stop that was the hard part! A very successful evening which we will have to do again.
THANKYOU CHOCOLATE MAN!!!
A fantastic night with everyone getting into the christmas spirit! There was plenty of games, dancing and entertainment many thanks to resident DJ George Orrell. The chocolate fountain was defiantly a big hit and many thanks to those who brought in food on the night and helped run the evening.

I would just like to say how successful Penistone Young Farmers were at Penistone Show. We had a fantastic stand, we helped with the Stewarding and around the show and we all looked GREAT in our tops. I would like to say a big THANK YOU to all the people who helped organize and set up the stand, who helped run the stand, who Stewarded animals and especially to everyone who got WET!!! I think the show helped advertise YFC and hopefully we should get some interest from that. Thanks again
